What Mentorea is, how sessions work, and how we think about privacy and safeguarding.
Mentorea connects students aged 14-18 with mentors working in professional fields, and offers free GCSE and A-level tutoring. Priority is given to students from lower-income backgrounds, and everything is completely free.
Mentoring sessions are 30 minutes, held over Zoom, weekly or biweekly, for six weeks. Tutoring sessions are arranged directly with a tutor based on your child's availability and needs.
Application information is stored securely and is only ever visible to Mentorea's founder for the purpose of matching. We never sell or share student data with third parties.
Mentors are asked detailed questions about their background and motivations as part of applying. Sessions take place over Zoom. If you ever have a concern about a session or a mentor, please contact us directly and we'll look into it immediately.
